Supporting the recruitment process through a period of change

The Challenge

This high-profile client (Automotive sector) was focused in building a first-class in-house recruitment team that could identify and deliver top talent. Whilst this was in progress, the increase in the volume of roles was impacting on the overall time-to-hire and candidate experience.

Their employer brand was strong, and therefore the response to advertising on their career site was high and consistent. To protect and further promote the brand during this transition, eSift were asked to work in partnership with the existing recruiters as an added resource and extension of the business.

The Solution

Our primary task was to manage 100 rolling roles per month via their applicant tracking system to ensure candidates were managed on a timely basis, that applications were sifted/screened, and stakeholders were kept informed throughout the process.

eSift were onsite once a week to ensure that we worked closely and in partnership with HR and Recruitment and also to build relationships with stakeholders and follow a consistent process. The business was charged a monthly fee on a rolling contract to offer flexibility and no placement fees applied.

Outcome

In 8 months over 200 roles were filled as a direct result of eSift managing the applications through to offer. The time to hire has improved by 72%, and the business has had the comfort of these roles being manage professionally, so they could focus on building their in-house talent acquisition team. The need for managers to use external agencies has reduced dramatically because they have more confidence in the internal resource.
