Our journey started in 2008 when the recruitment landscape looked a little different than it does today.
Businesses had started to promote a direct sourcing strategy, build their in-house capability and talent pipeline to address the anticipated growth in headcount once the recession had passed. However, during this transition period businesses needed a flexible resource to support this strategy and eSift was born!
2018 marks our 10-year anniversary and we are proud to have evolved our services to meet the expectation of our clients and have gained the recognition of many as a true “recruitment partner.”
Since our inception by the founder Geraldine Cole, our strategy has been to offer an exceptional recruitment service to both clients and candidates. We are not going to pretend that it’s been easy. It has been a challenge in a people-focused business, no matter how honest and transparent we have been. However, our approach has, and always will be, to retain the ‘human factor’ within a technology driven recruitment landscape.
Michelle Peagam joined as Co Director in 2013, and with her extensive in-house recruitment experience she has worked in partnership with Geraldine to underpin the ethics, values and the ethos of ‘getting it right’ rather than simply ‘getting it done’.
Both Geraldine and Michelle have had the advantage of working as talent acquisition professionals for FTSE 100 companies. They recognised the need to provide agile resourcing solutions for internal recruiters who were promoting a direct sourcing strategy and looking to reduce traditional recruitment agency costs.
With the commitment of a loyal and consistent team of specialist recruitment consultants, they have continued to retain many large global corporates and thriving SME clients, this is through their ability to engage talent, and represent clients at a high level of service.
