When was the business started?

November 2008

Where did you get business model idea?

When recession hit the Founders felt the traditional recruitment placement fee model no longer reflected the needs of companies mainly the requirement to pay a high % of the basic salary. The internet & job boards were and continue to be the primary source for candidate attraction, following 6 months of research with HR directors from both small and large corporate businesses confirmed that it was resourcing support that was needed.

How much recruitment experience do you have?

The founders alone have nearly 35 years recruitment experience.

Who are your competitors?

Whilst we have yet to find someone who offers an exact match to our services we acknowledge there are companies offering part of or similar services.

What locations do you cover?

eSift are able to cover the whole of the UK, Ireland can also be covered although there would be an additional charge for advertising

What industry sectors do you cover?

We are able to cover a variety of industry sectors including; Pharmaceutical, Security, Marketing, Retail, Catering,

What roles do you resource for?

We have successfully recruited in the following areas; Administration, Secretarial, Customer Service, Marketing, PR, HR, IT, Sales, Finance, Graduates, Management, Retail, Hospitality & Catering, Security. Our salary bracket would be between £15,000pa to £100,000pa

Can I keep all the candidates eSift send over for my role?

Yes, all candidates who apply for your role can be sent to you for you to use for other roles within the company or to add to your talent pool for future use.

Where will the vacancy be advertised?

All roles will go on to Reed, Monster, Total Jobs, we also use CW Jobs for IT vacancies

How long will the adverts run for?

Advertising on Total Jobs, Monster and Reed runs for 28 days this, CW Jobs advert will run for 7 days this is dictated by the job boards

Can you advertise using our company logo?

No we are not legally allowed to add your logo to our advert. You can advertise on the same job boards using your logo but there will be a cost implication with each site and then we can manage the response.

When advertising the role will the candidates know who the job is for?

This is your decision, we can blind advertise where it will say "Our client is looking to recruit…" or we can include the company name “Our client Joe Blogs is looking to recruit…”

We always advertise on a specialist job board, can we still use you?

Yes you can pay to use the board of your choice and arrange for responses to come to us and we can manage the candidates to suit you (i.e. CV sift, telephone screen and supply a short list)

What happens if you don’t fill the role?

Our Fully Managed Recruitment Service comes with our eSift guarantee "In the unlikely event your campaign does not generate the ideal candidate then we will re-run the campaign FREE OF CHARGE for another 4 weeks"

What is the USP of the Fully Managed Recruitment Service?

For us by including candidate management, telephone screening and CV searching as part of our service we are able to have a 95% fill rate

Why is your Fully Managed Recruitment Service fee cheaper than recruitment agency fees?

By being an online resourcing service we are able to provide a cost effective solution by not interviewing candidates face-to-face but always delivering the attraction and provision of a shortlist.

I need to advertise the same role in multiple locations – will I need to pay multiple management fees for the campaign?

Yes, as the advertising would need to cover each location, however for a large number of locations we could cost this under our volume model which would work out cheaper.

I need 30 candidates in a team (i.e. 30 Customer Service Advisors) all in one location will I need to pay 30 lots of the management fee?

No, you wouldn’t need to pay for 30 different campaigns however we would need to ensure we attract the right number of candidates in to the process in order to have 30 candidates for you to offer to at the end. To do this we would need to have a strong advertising activity in place and would cost this under our volume model.

What if I want to offer more than one person from the candidates sent?

This is no problem because all the CVs belong to you, you can offer to more than one candidate without fear of being charged anything extra. There are no placement fees!

 

Corporate Resourcing Solutions FAQs

Can you advertise the role on the job boards and then we do the rest?

No, we cannot pass on our cost of advertising alone as we are duty bound to provide a service. The minimum service we can provide is response management as all the response to the advert on the job boards come into an eSift email address.

Would you manage applications from a source other than the internet?

We are experienced in managing response from other sources including the paper, specialist trade publications, application forms and through a recruitment telephone hotline
